2. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

• Account information: email address, password
• Business profile: business name, entity type, state, city, NAICS code, annual revenue, employee count, years in business
• Owner profile: ownership percentage, demographics (veteran, woman-owned, minority-owned, etc.) — used solely for certification eligibility matching
• Payment information: processed and stored by Stripe; we receive only a customer ID and subscription status

Information collected automatically:

• Usage data: pages visited, features used, task completions
• Device and browser information for session management
• IP address for security purposes

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and personalize the Service, including eligibility matching and roadmap generation
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts)
• Send product updates and newsletters (you may unsubscribe at any time)
• Improve the accuracy of eligibility rules and playbooks
• Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud

4. Demographic Information

We collect demographic information about business owners (e.g., veteran status, gender, ethnicity) solely to determine which certifications you may qualify for. This information is never sold, shared with third parties for advertising purposes, or used to make decisions that adversely affect you.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

• Service providers: Supabase (authentication & database), Stripe (payments), Netlify (hosting). Each is bound by data processing agreements.
• Legal compliance: When required by law, court order, or government request.
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice provided to affected users.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), hashed passwords (managed by Supabase Auth), and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to notify us immediately of any suspected breach.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correction: Update inaccurate information in your account settings
